At the end of the check in we will complete a schedule of condition and cleanliness report of the property, take the utility meter readings where possible, and list the keys that are being handed over. The tenant then signs the check in declaration.
We meet the tenant at the property on the moving in day and walk through the property and inventory with the tenant. The aim is to ensure that the inventory provides an accurate and fair description of the property and its contents including the decor, fixtures, fittings, furnishings and soft furnishings and that the tenant is confident any issues are noted in the report. Images are also taken.
Check out reports are just as vital as inventory reports. The check out inventory is carried out on the last day of tenancy and compared with the check in report.
As we are completely independent from the landlord, agent and tenant, our reports are unbiased and makes the whole process fair to all parties.
Our clear and concise reports aid in a streamlined deposit deduction and return process.
